LA students visited Univision studios to learn about career pathways

It was an amazing opportunity for students to experience a “day in the life” at Univision headquarters in LA! They learned about the various career pathways in the TV production, journalism, Tech, and camera operations fields.

It was also such a treat to experience live radio with Martín Romero "El Ratón", teleprompting with Yarel Ramos, experiencing the magic that happens in the master control room, and hearing from learning from lead professionals on their career and life experiences.

These endeavors integrated with BSP’s Family Engagement and College Readiness programs, which focus on giving BSP workers and their children educational opportunities to support academic success. The initiatives aim to break the cycle of poverty through guidance on navigating the educational system, childhood enrichment opportunities and scholarships.

Thank you to TelevisaUnivision, the LA Promise Fund, Intern Project, and Technolochicas for this incredible experience!
