Pasadena Towers - Janitorial Team's ADVANCE Graduation

Recently, 11 property service workers from Southern California’s Pasadena Towers completed 70-hours of BSP’s ADVANCE ESL program curriculum through collaboration with industry partners, DMS Facility Services and CBRE.

BSP’s ADVANCE Vocational ESL program is an intensive English and job skills curriculum designed to meet industry needs for a skillful workforce, while meeting the individual’s needs for basic English communication.

Building owners, client and maintenance companies, and facility managers alike understand the value of having a workforce that can communicate directly with tenants to provide higher quality service and increase bottom line interests.

Participating companies in the ADVANCE program recognize English language skills as the catalyst to a more engaged and interactive building community. Having a workforce that can communicate directly with tenants and fully understand operating procedures in order to run a safe and efficient building has been shown to increase bottom line interests while enriching workplace dynamics.

Executives joined the Pasadena Towers’ Janitorial Team In-Person and Online to congratulate graduates on completing 70-hours of ADVANCE curriculum

Some highlights of the ADVANCE program include:

  • Greater Client Satisfaction

  • A Higher Skilled Workforce

  • Efficient Operating Procedures

  • Safer, More Secure Buildings

  • Bridges to Our Communities

Through its innovative partnership strategy, BSP serves as a model for delivering sector-based workforce development training to help low-wage and low-skilled immigrant workers in the commercial janitorial and airport service industries retain employment, access career mobility, and prepare for 21st century jobs.

A special congrats to the janitorial team from Pasadena Towers on their recent ADVANCE program graduation! BSP and our partners are proud of your hard work commitment to workforce development programs.
