Palo Alto programs help community

Manuela Amaya, her husband Manuel, and their entire family have been long-time participants and members of SEIU-USWW.

Initially, they were more involved with our San Jose office, but after moving to Hayward, they now attend our Palo Alto office, as it is more convenient for them. They actively participate in our Cafecitos, use VITA Tax Services, and attend our Citizenship and ESL classes.

During the most recent Cafecitos event, they attended and, in honor of Valentine’s Day and as a token of their appreciation for Cecilia Guerra, the Coordinator in Palo Alto, they brought a small gift.

They expressed deep gratitude for the high-quality services we offer and emphasized that they always feel welcome in our offices. As seniors, they mentioned how important it is for them to feel listened to and supported, which is something they truly value in their interactions with BSP.

A sincere thank you to the Chan Zuckerberg Institute, Google, Sobrato Philanthropies, and United Way Bay Area for making these impactful programs possible.
