Property service workers and industry partners joined Building Skills Partnership for a summer hike at Griffith Park. 100 people attended the event that offered exercise, community, food and connection.

BSP led the group through stretches, an ice breaker for the youth and a mindfulness exercise before the nature hike and scavenger hunt for native plants. The afternoon ended with lunch and some fun games, BSP Executive Director, Luis Sandoval, BSP Board Chair, Janna Shadduck-Hernández of UCLA Labor, BSP Board Member, Mark Gittleman, and President of SEIU-USWW David Huerta all came out to join the hike.

BSP is proud to offer Health and Wellness programs at commercial sites to property service workers throughout California and offers comprehensive, linguistically and culturally competent training & education that equips workers from low-wage industries and their families to lead healthy lives.
